Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of Regista. By requesting a sample, starting a trial, or subscribing, you agree to them.
1. The service
Regista compiles newly registered companies from the public Swiss commercial register (Zefix / SOGC), classifies them by industry and likely service need, matches them to the cantons and industries you choose, and emails you a digest. The register data is provided “as is” from the official source.
2. Free sample, trial & subscriptions
- You can request a free sample without providing payment details.
- Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. We do not require a card to begin the trial.
- To continue after the trial, you add a payment method and a recurring subscription begins at the plan price shown at sign-up. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); you receive an invoice for each charge and can manage or cancel your subscription at any time.
- Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and, unless stated otherwise, exclude any applicable VAT.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future charges. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. You can also unsubscribe from all emails in one click from any digest.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish the digest data as a competing dataset or directory;
- scrape, bulk-download, or use automated means to extract data from the service beyond your normal use of it;
- use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk communications.
Your responsibility when contacting companies. The service gives you information; how you use it is your responsibility. You are the controller for any outreach you carry out and must comply with all applicable laws, including data-protection law (FADP / GDPR) and unfair- competition and anti-spam rules (e.g. Art. 3(1)(o) UWG on mass advertising), and must honour opt-out requests.
5. Data source & intellectual property
Underlying company data originates from official open government data (Zefix / SOGC) under the opendata.swiss terms. The classification, matching, software, design, and compilation are our intellectual property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the register data is accurate, complete, current, or that any contact will lead to business. Always verify details against the official register before acting on them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence).
8. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the service; material changes will be communicated to subscribers and reflected by the date above. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is [your seat / canton], Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
